Sirius Renewable Energy’s portfolio of 7 wind turbines and 1 solar farm achieved record energy production levels this autumn, producing over 1.15MWh during the month of October, which is enough energy to supply 3,900 homes with all their electricity for the month.
At the end of November total production from the fleet broke through the 14million kwh barrier, representing a CO2 saving of over 6,000 tonnes since the first turbine was installed at Haregrove Farm in July 2015.
The Sirius Renewable Energy portfolio is set to expand in 2018 with the development of further wind turbines providing power to industrial users through bespoke private wire arrangements.
