Sirius are pleased to confirm we have been externally audited and successfully achieved OHSAS 18001 accreditation for Sirius Remediation Ltd, to complement our existing Group ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 accreditations.
OHSAS 18001 sets out occupational health and safety management best practice and achieving this accreditation means we have successfully put in place the policies, procedures and controls needed to achieve the best possible working conditions and workplace health and safety, in line with internationally recognised best practice.
Sirius’ Support Services Manager and Competent Person for Health & Safety Alex Ball said “ I am particularly pleased to have achieved this accreditation as it demonstrates the commitment to safety I see on site and in the office.”
Sirius’ target for 2017 is to integrate the management systems of Quality, Health & Safety and Environment and to continue to improve our performance in each of these areas.
