- Undertake Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments / Appraisals (LVIAs).
- Landscape Capacity and Feasibility Studies.
- Contribute to landscape design, restoration plans, and landscape management strategies.
- Support planning applications with high-quality visuals and technical reporting.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities across all project stages.
- Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

We're looking for someone with:
- A degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification
- Eligibility for or Chartered Member status with the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
- Ideally 5+ years’ professional experience (but we’re open to hearing from strong candidates with other levels of experience)
- Strong skills in AutoCAD, GIS, and graphics software
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work
- Experience in residential master planning, soft works design, and environmental planning would be a plus.

Based in Leeds with flexible hybrid or fully remote working, you’ll work with our senior Design Engineer alongside Town Planners and Landscape Architects to deliver a wide variety of projects across the UK – including solar, battery, wind, hydrogen energy, minerals, waste management and commercial developments.

- Produce high-quality CAD outputs: planning drawings, landscape and visual assessment mapping figures, GA drawings, schematics, elevations, photography presentation, and as-built drawings, plus the option to and assist with photography and surveying where required.
- Support the design and development of projects through all stages.
- Collaborate with our town planners, landscape architects, clients, and third parties.
- Contribute to the graphics / mapping in support of landscape and visual assessments.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineer to join our geoenvironmental consultancy teams based in Durham. You will have post graduate experience in geoenvironmental or geotechnical consulting and at least two years relevant postgraduate experience.
To be successful in your application you must demonstrate:
- A strong academic background in a relevant subject e.g., Engineering Geology/Environmental Engineering with knowledge of both geotechnical engineering and contaminated land risk assessment
- Working towards chartership/achieved chartership with a relevant professional body
- Experience in carrying out Site Investigations
- A good understanding of contaminated land regulatory and legislative framework
- A good knowledge of the principal soil and rock strata encountered in the UK and are able to log samples using the descriptions contained within BS EN ISO 14688-1&2: 2018, BS EN ISO 14689: 2018 and BS:5930:2015+A1:2020
- Experience in undertaking factual and interpretative Phase I & II assessments
- Basic computer literacy and experience with standard MS packages such as MS Word and MS Excel. Knowledge of CAD and Holebase desirable.
- Experience in undertaking cover soil and gas protection measures verification is desirable.
★ Key Tasks:
- Supervision of site investigations
- Preparation of risk assessments and method statements
- Management of health and safety on site
- Soil / rock logging to relevant British Standards
- Collection of in situ data and geotechnical/environmental sampling
- Groundwater/ground gas monitoring
- Writing of / input into factual and interpretive reports – e.g., Desk Studies, Preliminary Risk Assessments, Phase 2 Ground Investigation Reports, Mining Risk Assessments, Hazardous Ground Gas Risk Assessments, Remediation Strategies etc.

Sirius Planning is seeking professional Planners to join our team for a hybrid role, based out of our Leeds office/home.
As a Chartered Planner within Sirius Planning, which is part of the Sirius Group (an employee owned company), you will be part of a busy planning team, handling a varied range of planning applications for both strategic and immediate projects.
Projects will be varied including energy infrastructure (solar, battery, wind, hydrogen), waste management, mineral and commercial schemes.
The roles offer a broad range of responsibility for all aspects of the development process including planning policy and appraisal work, land promotion, provision of planning consultancy services, along with detailed development management and project delivery.
You will be required to co-ordinate, and prepare planning applications and environmental impact assessments, develop relationships with clients, local authorities, stakeholders and local communities.
You will also be required to manage sub-consultants, undertake site appraisals, and provide strategic and tactical planning advice to clients at senior levels. You will be working closely with our other Chartered Planners and Landscape Architects, and help manage and deliver new projects as part of our planned growth.
The successful applicant will ideally be RTPI qualified (other experience levels will be considered) with a Degree / Masters planning qualification, a robust knowledge of the planning system, and experience gained preferably in the energy, waste, minerals, commercial and residential sectors would be of benefit.

Sirius Environmental is looking to recruit an Environmental Consultant to join their compliance and technical assessment team based out of its South Wales Office, located in Llanelli. The post will involve working across a range of development sectors, but will be mainly focused on Waste and Recycling, Minerals and Quarrying and Renewable Energy.
The role is predominantly office based, but UK travel to other Group offices and to clients/project stakeholders is considered essential. The successful candidate will report to the Principal Environmental Consultant, and Environmental Director as required, and will be responsible for the preparation of environmental reports and technical assessments such as Environmental Permit Applications and Environmental Risk Assessments.
The position is very much a forward-facing role, and the successful candidate will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and under their own initiative, in a dynamic fast changing environment.
We are therefore seeking a candidate who is a minimum of degree qualified in an appropriate environmental/engineering field and has at least one to two years’ experience working within a relevant sector. A fabulous opportunity for a Graduate Geologist to join our team, providing exposure to all aspects of rig operations, the stabilisation of shallow mineworkings and exposure to the wider operations of The Sirius Group (Remediation, Geo Consultancy, Renewables etc.).
We are recruiting a Graduate Geologist/ Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer to join our busy Sirius Drilling & Grouting operation based in Leeds.
The job will involve all aspects of our rotary drilling operations across the UK and specifically the drilling and grouting of shallow mine workings.
You should be confident, willing to learn, like to be kept busy and be able to meet deadlines to ensure that project timescales are met. You will also need a good eye for detail.
Working across a number of sites, your role will involve a range of tasks including the collection of drilling data, surveying of boreholes and data analysis against geological models.
Requirements
A full clean UK Driving Licence is required.
Location
The position will be based at our Leeds office at Thorpe Park, LS15 8GB and will cover sites throughout the UK.
