This 500kw EWT DW52 (35m tower) wind turbine, was commissioned in September 2016 and is located at FCC Environments Bennett Bank landfill site, near Barrow in Furness, Cumbria. The turbine is expected to produce some 1.5 million kwhs of low carbon electricity per annum for export to the grid, reducing carbon emissions by some 16,500 tonnes over the life of the project.
